http://movies.nabolister.com/list.php?movieorserie=0&page=2NEWSGROUPS by Hades
So it is time for people to start learning to use newsgroups. They are far superior to bittorrent as they are much much faster than public torrent sites (and most private ones too), and you do not need to do any uploading.1. a)Check with your ISP to see if Newsgroups are included with your service. If you news Cogeco then you have newsgroups included.
b)If you do not have service included then signup for GigaNews. For $12 a month you can get a good service.2. Go out and find "Newsbin" or "Newsleecher" from the usual places such as The Pirate Bay, ISO Hunt, MiniNova, etc... (my tutorial will be for newsleecher as it is the program I use)
3. Install and then launch Newsleecher.
4. Under the "Manager" tab, click the "Add" button.
5. Type in your server address (cogeco: news.cogeco.ca, giganews: news.giganews.com) and give the connection a nickname (example: "Cogeco" or "Giganews")
6. Click "Server Requires Login" and then enter your username and password. (For Cogeco this would be your main email address, or Giganews would be the username/password sent to you after signing up). Click "OK"
7. Go to "Options menu, and then under "Download" -> "NZB". Check the following options: "Associate with NewsLeecher", "Activate on .NZB Import", "Download .NZB to Subfolder", "Auto Import .NZB files places in this folder", "Auto-Connect" and then browse to find a folder where you will download NZB files to. As well choose to "Delete Imported .NZB file".
8. Now go to the "Download" options and select a default download folder. Where all of your downloaded files will end up. Make any other option changes you want and then hit "OK"
9. Sign-up at Merlins Portal or use Newz Leech or Newz Bin all of which will allow you to find and download various NZB files just as if you were going to download a torrent.
10. Place the downloaded NZB file into your "Auto Import Folder" and then launch NewsLeecher. It will automatically import the file NZB and then que/download all the files needed for your selected download.
11. Download Quick Par, install, launch
12. Select "Options' and check the following boxes: "Associate with PAR2 files", "Associate with PAR files", "Associate with SFV/MD5 files", "Monitor Automatically", "Repair Automatically", "Delete Damaged Files after Repair", "Delete PAR2 files after repair", and "Send files to recycle bin"
13. After your download has completed in Newsleecher browse to the folder your files were downloaded to. A PAR2 or SFV should have been included. If a PAR2 exists click on it and QuickPar will launch. This program will verify that your download did not miss any bytes and if it does then it will repair the files so that you can extract it ok.
Enjoy.

teekay:I've been on a Rogers Pay as you go plan with a Motorolla V360 phone, but Rogers started implementing ridiculous charges like $0.15 for every text message received, sooo I'm thinking of switching to Virgin.
What is required to make such a change - a new sim card? Is it easier to get a new phone altogether?
I'm pretty tech savvy, but haven't really given a lot of thought to cell phones. Virgin's site under FAQs says that to switch, you need a new phone. However, that just sounds a little ridiculous to me.
Also, please no LMGTFY. Thanks.
Rogers, Fido = GSM
Telus, Bell, Virgin = CDMAGSM = SIM Cards
CDMA = No SIM Cards (ESN (number) instead)You don't necessarily need to switch phones to switch providers (GSM can be unlocked to work with either) but CDMA phones are specific to provider. So, you can switch from Rogers to Fido or Fido to Rogers but Bell is limited to Bell phones, Telus to Telus phones and Virgin to Virgin phones.
