I can't stand how Hollywood uses that quasi-British accent whenever they need someone to sound exotic or powerful.
-
A couple mill to play a superhero and make out with Natalie Portman?
Not bad at all.

i heard more of his australian accent than a "quasi-british" one
-
i guess that makes canadian accents "quasi-british" as well.
-

I love this line at the end:
"Is this one of Stark's?"
"I don't know...That guy never tells me anything..."This looks DEADLY!

I agree. I like the guy who plays Agent Coulson in these movies.

FUCK, that one didn't work either.

Every single one of the Norse gods speaks with a British accent in the trailer (or at least something close to a real British accent -- Thor's sounds pretty bad).
In Hollywood, ancient Greeks and Romans always speak with British accents. Egyptians, too. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Norse gods would somehow be British too, despite how ridiculous that idea is.
I know I'm not the only person in the world who finds this stupid, but I guess everyone else on this board is cool with it.
-
I also think it's ridiculous.
-
What should they sound like?
-
i always though gods had rastafarian accents

Hmm, I guess I would suggest Scandanavian accents for Scandanavians, Greek accents for Greeks, et cetera, or is that just crazy?
But... I don't really have a beef with the British accents, I just think it's funny. I kind of wonder how British audiences react to it. Also, this recent XKCD comes to mind as relevant.
